Strantrol® HRR/PH Controllers

Wallace and Tiernan Strantrol
Strantrol® HRR/PH Controllers

The Strantrol® flowcell and the Strantrol HRR® and pH sensors are an industry standard for disinfection applications where the work value of a disinfectant is to be optimized.

The simple see-through flowcell allows for a visual check of the sensors. The flowcell is designed for flowrates of 1 to 3 gpm and all sample water flow can be returned to the process as the cell can operate under pressure of up to 100 psig. The Strantrol® sensors are well known for their accuracy, speed in response and long life.

Applications

  • Food & Beverage, Fruit and Vegetable Washing
  • Cooling Towers
  • Industrial Process, Pulp & Paper, Chemical Processing
  • Commercial & Institutional
  • Industrial Wastewater and Reuse

Benefits

  • Robust flow cell designed for the most challenging water applications
  • Accurate and reliable High Resolution Redox® (ORP) 99.999% pure platinum electrode
  • Stable measurement via Strantrol pH sensor proprietary gel and unique liquid junction
  • SFC electronics provide data storage for up to 20 years with removable SD card
  • Communications via Fieldbus, internet and ethernet

Eco 88X Analyzer

Evoqua Water Technologies introduces the ECO 88X analyzer/transmitter.

Eco 88X Analyzer
Eco 88X Analyzer

It is designed for accurate chlorine measurements or other disinfection related measurements
such as pH, ORP or conductivity (TDS) in markets that require a reliable yet economical chlorine measurement solution. Ideally suited for chemical-based water disinfection applications, this analyzer is the least expensive to own, operate and maintain yet is responsive and reliable enough to ensure compliance with regulations. Capital as well as operational savings are possible by; low initial capital cost, simple installation and start-up, intelligent yet simple operation and no costly sensor maintenance requirements.

Applications

  • Filter backwash
  • Cooling Towers
  • Vegetable Processing

Benefits

  • Low total cost of ownership
  • No costly reagents or buffer solutions required for most applications
  • Simple calibration procedure
  • Sensor maintenance is eliminated with this bare electrode sensor – routine replacement is suggested after one year of continuous operation (may be longer depending on operational conditions)

Micro/2000® Measurement Module

The Micro/2000® chlorine analyzer from Wallace & Tiernan® systems is used with either the MFC electronics or the new SFC electronics.

Micro/2000® Measurement Module

The SFC electronic package is used when a single measurement is required and can be supplied with optional control functionality. The MFC electronic package is used when multiple analysis with control functionality are required. Either electronic package provides a user friendly display and touch pad with historic data trending available right on the display.

Applications

  • Wastewater
  • Potable Water
  • Cooling Water

Benefits

  • Accurately measures free and total chlorine, chlorine dioxide or potassium permanganate residuals
  • Suitable for wastewater, portable water and cooling water( fresh or saltwater source) applications
  • Measurement ranges from 0-0.1 to 0-200 mg/L
  • Sensitivity down to 1 ppb ( 0.001 mg/L)
  • Long term stability of calibration that is unaffected by varying water quality, changes in turbidity or conductivity
  • Low sample flow cell design for economical reagent usage
  • Separate flow cell and electronic packages for installation flexibility
